Today the topic I want to talk about is a very useful kitchen hack I learned from my house help a couple of years ago. When you take out frozen food from the freezer and if it is covered with paper, the paper gets stuck with the food and when you try to remove the paper, it does not come out. applying force causes the food to also come out with along with the paper and we don’t want that because it destroys the shape of the food and that food is wasted. How to remove paper stuck on frozen food without damaging the food item?
First, separate as much paper as you can from the food pieces and leave the little residues which are not separating and are stuck on the food as it is and which we will remove later on.
Now microwave the food items for half a minute in the oven, until the food is a little hot, not too much, we don't it to cook, just heat and defreeze it. Take the food out of the oven and you will see that now when you try to remove the stuck paper, it will come out easily. And no pieces of the food will come out with it. It will remain in its perfect shape, only the paper will come out.
